Spine Route Phase 2 - Have your Say

Lambeth Council are currently delivering a multi million pound regeneration of parts of Upper Ground and Belvedere Road, on an area commonly known as the Spine Route.

This ambitious plan reimagines the area, prioritising people who walk/wheel and cycle, improving public spaces, and making the area more climate resilient. As part of the wider plan, Lambeth will install more green spaces, create new pedestrian areas, and put in new traffic circulation measures.

In Autumn 2023, Lambeth Council introduced an ETO (Experimental Traffic Order) - this has now been in place for more than 12 months.

To evaluate this ETO and its ongoing impacts, the Council have shared a survey asking for local businesses to provide their feedback on the ETO and the trial circumstances it has put in place.

For further information and to give your thoughts, head here.

For immediate feedback, ongoing issues, or questions about the overall Masterplan, residents and businesses can email: Southbankspineroute@lambeth.gov.uk. The survey will close on 9th February.
