The BID welcomes Sara Harrison as new Head of Place Management

We’re delighted to welcome Sara Harrison as South Bank Employers Group and South Bank BID’s new Head of Place Management.

Sara joins the BID from the Myatts Field Park Project, a community led green space initiative located between Brixton and Camberwell. Sara has also previously held managerial roles within The Royal Parks Foundation and the Energy Saving Trust.

The role of the Head of Place Management is a crucial role within our Public Realm team; alongside managing South Bank Clean Team and the BID’s cleaning services, Sara will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Jubilee Gardens gardening team, and stakeholder relationships with local landowners and businesses on public realm matters.

Sara’s extensive experience in urban green space management in London will be an important asset to the work the BID and SBEG undertake to keep South Bank safe, clean, and welcome for all visitors. We look forward to sharing more about the projects and work she is undertaking over the upcoming months.

To minimise overheads and risk and make the best use of existing resources and expertise, South Bank BID does not directly employ staff. It secures delivery of its programmes and projects through South Bank Employers’ Group (SBEG), under a service level agreement providing for delivery. As employees of South Bank Employers’ Group (SBEG), members of the BID Delivery Team undertake other services and duties which are not funded by revenues from South Bank BID. If you would like any further clarity or information on this, please contact BID@southbanklondon.com.
