South Bank BID receives British BIDs accreditation!

We’re delighted to announce that South Bank BID has become an officially accredited BID, through receiving British BIDs accreditation.

British BIDs Accreditation is an industry recognised standard, externally assessed by independent auditors, and designed in line with the Business Plan Criteria and the National Guiding Principles for a BID.

As part of the accreditation process, BIDs are assessed based on:

  • Governance

  • Management & Operations

  • Finance

  • Performance Management

  • Communication & Reporting

Across these five elements, South Bank BID received strong positive feedback that it was evident that the BID was well-run and fully accountable to levy payers, with robust systems in place to provide the best possible services for the area.

South Bank BID first received accreditation in 2019: accreditation lasts for five years, with BIDs needing to undertake the process again after this period in order maintain accreditation. This is to ensure continual transparency and effective management as BIDs enter new five year terms, and evolve their services.
