We are extremely proud to share that South Bank BID’s Security Manager, Umer Khalid, has been shortlisted for Security Manager of the Year at the national Security & Fire Awards for Excellence.
As the BID’s dedicated Security Manager, Umer works strategically with our South Bank Patrol team and Night Marshals, local authorities, private land security services, outreach services and wider neighbourhood policing teams to ensure a collaborative and proactive approach to safety and crime across the neighbourhood.
The nomination for this national award was supported by written testimonials from levy payers, landowners and wider partners including the British Transport Police, Met Police and Safer Business Network who praised Umer's hard work, commitment and tireless dedication to supporting the South Bank community.
