Start warming up your vocal cords because this year’s Miracle on Leake Street (the ultimate FREE alternative Christmas party) is using the acoustics of London’s longest graffiti tunnel to create a singalong like never before.
Hosted by South Bank BID and WeAreWaterloo, head down to find the famous graffiti arches turned into a festive wonderland, complete with graffiti workshops, dance performances from local samba and salsa troupes, quirky wreath-making, giant board games, a craft market, a group photo experience, and food and drink stalls serving-up flavours from around the world.
Returning to Leake Street on Thursday 5th December for its sixth year, this year's after-work event centres around music. The Karaoke Bug Bar powered by Lucky Voice, will provide a unique Christmas soundtrack that everyone will want to sing along to (with professional choirs on hand to drown out any off-key notes). Traditional carols (and Mariah!) have been banned – and replaced by a curated track list of rock, hip hop, and RnB classics.
To keep you going through the evening, will also be a great mix of pop-up bars and food trucks in the Leake Street tunnel, and of course everyone's favourite underground Leake Street bars Passyunk Avenue, Draughts and Mamuska! will be joining in the festivities.
Donations made by cash and card throughout the evening will go towards the Waterloo Foodbank, helping to support local families in need during the festive period.
