We're excited to say that, for the first time, South Bank BID is partnering with neighbouring BID WeAreWaterloo for their annual 'Together at Christmas' campaign.
The campaign is a great opportunity for South Bank and Waterloo businesses to give back to a range of fantastic local charities this festive season. In the context of the wider cost of living crisis, these charities are doing vital work to support the local community, and appreciate the support more than ever.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
As part of the campaign, local businesses are asked donate gifts which will be distributed to local charities in the area including Oasis Waterloo, Waterloo Action Centre and the Drive Forward Foundation. Requested items include chocolates, biscuit tins, toiletries, warm clothes etc.
Businesses can sign up using the link below - you can see a list of requested items on the form itself, or we can also send you a form for individual reference.
Any donations will be collected by WeAreWaterloo's cargo bikes on Tuesday 12 December. If that day doesn’t work, gifts can be dropped off at one of the community wrapping days on 13-14 December at the Waterloo Action Centre.
WRAPPING DAYS
Once the donations have been received, members of the community are invited to help wrap these gifts at Waterloo Action Centre on Tuesday 13 December and Wednesday 14 December. Anyone is welcome (quite literally “the more the merrier”), as we do our bit to help those in need this festive season!
You can reserve yourself a space at the wrapping day here.
