South Bank BID begins its second term

As of October 1st, South Bank BID is now officially in its second term! After an overwhelmingly positive result in this summer’s ballot, with 98% of votes cast in favour of renewing the BID, we’re excited to build on what we have delivered in our first term as we move into the next, and focus on shaping a world-class South Bank for everyone.

Fundamental place management services such as cleaning and security alongside destination marketing channels to boost our visitor economy will continue to be key foundations of South Bank BID’s work. The BID will also look towards important long-term goals for South Bank, including a focus on sustainability, inclusivity, employment skills, and fostering a strong business network across the area.

This will all take place in the context of an unprecedented period of growth and transformation in South Bank. With the redevelopment of the Spine Route and Elizabeth House, alongside the opening of Southbank Place and the arrival of Waterloo.London, South Bank BID will continue to play a key role in advocating for business and wider community interests.

For more information, South Bank BID’s complete business plan for 2019-24 can be found here, which provides a thorough overview of the BID’s vision for the next 5 years.
