South Bank BID is excited to welcome Jackson Bylett as the new Net Zero Programme Lead for the area.
The Net Zero Programme Lead is a new position, following on from the launch earlier this year of the Net Zero Strategy and Action Plan for South Bank and Waterloo. This position will be responsible for driving forward the ambitious plans laid out in the Strategy and Action Plan, working collaboratively with stakeholders from across the area, including levy payers, and representatives from Lambeth Council, South Bank and Waterloo Neighbours, and WeAreWaterloo BID.
Jackson is currently Camden Council’s Climate Programme Manager and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Camden’s Climate Action Plan. With experience in both the public and private sector, Jackson a wealth of knowledge and experience in partnership working and delivering wide reaching sustainability programmes.
The Net Zero Programme Lead is part of the BID’s delivery team, and the role is co-funded by South Bank BID, WeAreWaterloo BID and via revenues from the London Eye S106 agreement, reflecting the role’s commitment to delivery across South Bank and Waterloo. Jackson will be working closely with all partners, including Lambeth Council’s Climate team.
