Rugby World Cup. Are you ready?

As you may be aware, the Rugby World Cup is the third largest sporting event in the world, second only to the Olympics and FIFA World Cup. It will take place in London from 18 September to 31 October 2015 and will bring an estimated 400,000 international visitors to the Capital.

Whilst most of the matches will be taking place at Twickenham Stadium and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, South Bank has enormous opportunities to intercept and engage with those visitors, with Waterloo station being a key transport hub to reach Twickenham and Trafalgar Square having been designated as a ‘fan zone’ in the weekends during the tournament.

Any event that has a link to the game or a rugby theme can be submitted to become part of the Festival of Rugby 2015, hosted between June 10 and October 2015, via the online application atwww.festivalofrugby2015.com. By doing so your business will benefit from being part of the Festival of Rugby, and your events will be promoted via the website.
