New Year’s Eve 2014 Fireworks Display: What Did You Think?

This year, the London New Year’s Eve 2014 firework celebrations were ticketed to ensure the event remained safe and fun for everyone. As in previous years, the fireworks took place around Coca-Cola London Eye, following a similar format to previous years. There were a number of road closures within the local area for the first time and public access to the viewing areas was restricted to ticket and wristband holders, to prevent overcrowding. Local businesses and residents within ticketed zones were not required to have a ticket, but were asked to demonstrate their right to be given access to the area. As such, on request, they were issued with passes, allowing quicker access.

As a part of the South Bank BID, we are keen for you to share your experience of the organisation, accessibility, management and security of the New Year’s Eve 2014 fireworks display. By giving us your valuable feedback, we can help make the 2015 event even more successful, safe and enjoyable for all our local businesses, your staff and guests, who may be affected on the night.
