The first round of Lambeth’s Economic Resilience Fund will open for applications in January 2021, to help support Lambeth businesses who have been impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Lambeth’s £6.5m Economic Resilience Fund will support businesses in the borough who continue to be most severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The first phase of the Fund is making £3.2 million available to provide immediate relief and support to Lambeth businesses in urgent need.
The first round of applications will target businesses in the following priority categories:
- Market traders and retail concessions
- Independent hospitality and leisure: this includes independent restaurants, bars, clubs, theatres, leisure facilities, museums and event venues.
- Cultural and creative industries
- Businesses in shared workspaces
Applications for the Economic Resilience Fund will open at 9am on Tuesday 5 January 2021. Due to the limited number of grants available, the fund will open for a limited time and will close at 5pm on Friday 8 January 2021. Lambeth Council anticipates that the funding will be oversubscribed, so businesses are being equipped with ample enough initial time to prepare their applications ahead of the fund being opened.
