Public-facing businesses in South Bank will be able to benefit from our award-winning mobile visitor information service, The InfoBikes.
The InfoBikes are three large pop-up tricycles, which are strategically situated on the Queen’s Walk. Their aim is to provide on-the-spot information and directions to the thousands of visitors who come to South Bank, Bankside and London Bridge every summer weekend. Former Visit London Award winners for Best Visitor Information Initiative and TFL Smarter Travel Award runner-up for Best Marketing & Communications Service, the InfoBikes are jointly run by South Bank BID, South Bank Marketing Group, Better Bankside and Team London Bridge.
The service will be operating:
- every weekend in July and August 10am-4pm (Riverside Walkway, outside Southbank Centre/Tate Modern/Tower Bridge)
- every weekend in September and October (timings tbc), to target Rugby World Cup visitors on their way to/from Twickenham Stadium (outside Waterloo Station)
Each InfoBike is manned by two trained members of staff, providing information to visitors on local events and attractions, places to eat and shop. The rear of the InfoBike folds out to allow for print and merchandising to be displayed and distributed via our team.
Public-facing members of the South Bank BID will be able to include one piece of print (max. 6000 items) on the South Bank InfoBike, free of charge. You may also be able to include merchandise such as Oyster card wallets, tote bags, stickers or badges.
To take advantage of the service, please send your print/merchandise to our distribution agency Impact at the address below:
