IBM announce their intentions to invest and stay in South Bank

On Monday the 25th May, IBM released a statement on their vision for the future of their team in UK and Ireland, and how as a company they are reimagining the future of their work space in South Bank.

As plans continue to be developed for the future of Denys Lasdun’s brutalist vision on the Queen’s Walk, the current site of IBM’s UK main office, IBM have announced their intention to move into 20 York Road, alongside Shell, as part of a ‘phased relocation’ later this year.

Simon Edward, VP and Chief Marketing Officer at IBM, and member of the South Bank BID board, commented that IBM are “very excited with the announcement of our new home in South Bank which underlines our commitment to London, our people, clients and partners”.
