How Can the Police Improve South Bank?

Do you have a view about the issues that affect your business? What could police and local partners do to improve the area where you work? The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) recognise that businesses are victims of crime too and are keen to engage with South Bank BID businesses to shape improvements in police delivery across the capital.

In 2014, MOPAC launched their Business Crime Strategy, the first of its kind, representing a call to arms for the police, businesses, local authorities and others to work together to build confidence and prevent and reduce crime. MOPAC has launched the London Business Attitude Survey (BAS) to evaluate business confidence in the police, alongside other types of crime that often affect local businesses. Opinion Research Services (contracted by MOPAC) will be conducting telephone interviews with businesses across London over the next two years.

Taking part in the survey is a great chance for South Bank BID businesses to shape future services. The survey will ask a range of questions about crime problems in the area around your business (including crime that may have affected your business directly and the impact this has had), and what police and other public services can do to improve the situation for businesses in London.
