“Getting the BID Up and Running” – News from the Board
The first South Bank BID Board Meeting took place on 15 January at Mondrian London. Various aspects of the BID were discussed, including Board and Company membership, funding, insurance, various legal agreements, area developments, and a review of services.
It was agreed that we should encourage a greater take-up of company membership both from existing levy payers and by inviting smaller businesses to take up voluntary membership of the BID as provided for in the BID proposal. We will be writing to all those eligible in the near future.
We would also aim to recruit more Board members, from a variety of large and small businesses. For further information about company membership (for which there is no charge) and about the role and responsibilities of Board members please contact Ted Inman, Chief Executive, at Ted.firstname.lastname@example.org or 0207 202 6905.
