‘Project Diffuse’ – an essential acid attack training session delivered by MET Police

post-image 5th October 2018

Would you know what to do in the event of an acid attack?

South Bank BID has teamed up with Safer Lambeth BCRP to deliver Project Diffuse for members and security teams across Lambeth. The event features a live demonstration featuring an acid attack in a crowded place and provides training for the first response from staff, security and emergency services. Following the great success of the last ‘Diffuse’ event held by our sister BCRP, Safer WestEnd, Lambeth have been chosen to hold the next – a great opportunity for our businesses.

The training will be delivered by the Metropolitan Police and will feature London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service and will aim to give you an insight into an attack, allow you to experience first hand how you would react and ultimately prepare you should an incident occur within your venue.

The training involves the use of a lot of water. Please wear appropriate shoes.
