South Bank Forum

The September meeting of the South Bank Forum. Jointly chaired by Vauxhall MP Kate Hoey and Southwark MP Neil Coyle, and attended by elected representatives from Lambeth Bishop’s Ward, Southwark Borough and Bankside Ward, and the London Assembly. Councillor Jack Hopkins, leader of Lambeth Council, will be attending and will outline the council’s current and future priorities.
There will also be updates on:
- Waterloo City Hub Project
- Lambeth Borough Plan
- South Bank spine route – Belvedere Road and Upper Ground, which form the ‘spine route’, have fallen into disrepair over recent years. Lambeth will give details of its plans to improve the road, pavements and surroundings.
- South Bank and Waterloo Neighbourhood Plan referendum – Residents and businesses will vote on the plan on Thursday 24 October.
There will be opportunities towards the end of the meeting to give a community notice or to raise issues.
