The Bridge at Waterloo, based at St John’s Church, is offering 16 unemployed young people in Lambeth the chance to further their education with a highly regarded, accredited qualification in digital and coding skills, gained through attending a series of workshops designed to provide the skills and confidence to approach employment with confidence.
The Bridge would like to young people to benefit from paid work placements, and is looking for South Bank businesses to give one or more students an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have they learnt.
A paid placement could be from two to four weeks, and would offer young people the chance to demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Giles Goddard of St. John’s Church is actively seeking businesses and employers to come on board with this project.
It could offer a chance for you to find enthusiastic and local permanent employees. If your organisation believes in giving local and skilled young people the opportunity to demonstrate their ability and commitment please contact Giles directly:
