BID Team: Your Monthly Update

post-image 7th April 2016

This month, we’ve covered one of the major new developments in South Bank, the announcement of the £800 million development of Waterloo Station, which has the potential to affect thousands of visitors and employees.

As well as this we’re offering all our visitor economy members the chance to raise their public exposure by displaying their print on our award-winning InfoBikes which will be situated along the South Bank riverside for the duration of the summer.

On security we have an important update from the police, with information and advice on what to take into account in the case of a terrorist incident. This advice could prove valuable in light of the recent attacks on Brussels and Paris.

Most importantly, we’ll be asking you for your thoughts on the BID – where you want us to be heading in the long term, and whether you think there is anything we could be doing better to help you and the area.

Finally, we’re bringing you a whole series of offers from local BID businesses, including a half price discount from the Café with ‘The best espresso in London’, as well as discounts on Locale, Las Iguanas and Benugo.

As always, we’re available to answer any questions you might have. If there’s anything that you would like to raise with us, or if you just want to say hello, you can do so here.
