In July, South Bank BID partnered with Art Night for an event that reaffirmed South Bank’s position as the cultural heart of London
The festival, which came to South Bank for the first time, and which was curated by Hayward Gallery, was a great success with 70,000 people attending across the weekend and capturing a live digital audience of 350,000.
Art Night 2018 had a 2.5m social media reach and gained over 230 media articles between January and July 2018, the majority of which directly mentioned South Bank.
Art Night built on the success of Lumiere 2018, which was held in January. Both festivals championed artistic creativity and encouraged Londoners and visitors to come to South Bank.
