The Metropolitan Police Service Protective Security Operations, supported by Southwark Counter Terrorism Focus Desk, is holding a Night Time Economy Project Griffin Counter Terrorism Awareness Event.
Where: Ministry of Sound, Gaunt Street, London SE1 6DP
When: Wednesday 14th June, 9:30-12:30hrs
Who: the event is suitable for management and staff of companies who have security or public facing role.
Price: the event is free but does require prior registration
The event will consist of a series of presentations which will include:
- Current threat and hostile reconnaissance
- Stay safe – firearms and weapon attacks (run, hide, tell)
- Suspect packages and protective security
Project Griffin’s primary mission is to engage, encourage and enable members of the community to work in partnership with the police to deter, detect and counter terrorist activity and crime.
Spaces are limited and operate on a first come first serve basis. If you are unsuccessful in getting a place, then please be reassured that further events will be held in the future.
